Details about US and EU shipping
10 months ago – Fri, Oct 31, 2025 at 06:19:18 AM

Hi folks,

As you have probably read, the rewards for this campaign will be shipped out in two waves: one in December and one in October of next year.

Until now, we've been a bit vague as to exactly what this means with regards to customs and taxes to various countries. Fortunately we have a little more information on that front.

For EU and US backers, we will be using fulfilment services in Poland and Tennessee, which means that we will be sending across a pallet of boxes to those respective hubs, which they will forward to the backers. This means that Caesar Ink will be handling customs in bulk. You, the backer, will not see any surprise tariffs/customs fees at the end of delivery!

The upside is cheaper overall delivery for all EU and US backers, and no nasty customs surprises!

The downside is this adds a logistical step. It will push back the December shipment by a couple of weeks, meaning US and EU backers will be getting their wave one goods a little later, in January.

Welcome to the Newynog

Hi folks!

Today we'd like to share a PDF that introduces you to the Newynog, Famine's realm. During the campaign for Thou Shalt Not Suffer The Wycce, this realm is threatening to push through and merge with the reality of Painyme.

Throughout the game, you can take short trips through this strange land, allowing you to cover great distances and gather wisdom from powerful entities. However, this comes at considerable risk. Should you fail to understand or follow the rules of the realm, terrible consequences will follow.

Tread lightly.

Perhaps you will meet Doso the Vulture Queen beneath an ever-famished moon.

Noble Families of Cocytus
10 months ago – Tue, Oct 21, 2025 at 08:08:04 AM

With one week of the KS behind us and two remaining, its time for a bit of an update! We've got a great campaign on the way and we're so glad you're along for the journey.

The Map of Cocytus, in all its glory

Just like Lord Have Mercy Upon Us and the plaguescape, this campaign provides another huge region for players to explore. They will receive news of miracles that have taken place in set locations, but they're free to roam the borderkingdom of Cocytus in any order that suits them.

The crests shown on the map above are the most important landed families and knightly orders in the land. Check out the PDF document here to learn more about these NPCs!

The arrows between these banners show who pays tribute (and thereby swears fealty to) each house. Not important, but fun to think about!

It's important to note... this document follows the same logic as a lot of other things in Doomsong: there if the GM wants it.  Generally the investigations at the heart of Thou Shalt Not Suffer The Wycce won't rely upon the players remembering "this lord is trying to kill off that heir" or "these guys own a lot of land and hate the royal stewards".

Rather, this document is intended to show off the kinds of prompts GMs can expect to find scattered throughout the campaign. It's always good to have evocative text at your fingertips!

Happy reading!

Consider Us Floored
10 months ago – Fri, Oct 17, 2025 at 06:06:55 AM

Your response has been absolutely overwhelming and we are floored by the support. Thank you so much to each and every one of you. Whether you've been rooting for Doomsong since before the first Kickstarter, heard of it through the Quinn's Quest patreon, or only just found it via this year's Witchstarter: THANK YOU.

You'll never know how much it means to us that you've all poured out of the woodwork to show your support. We have amazing things planned for Thou Shalt Not Suffer The Wycce and we think you'll love it.

Some Quick Info To Get You Started

Lord Have Mercy Upon Us and Thou Shalt Not Suffer The Wycce can be run in any order. They are standalone stories!

With that said...

Lord Have Mercy Upon Us is a sprawling, sandbox exploration with storylines that unfold based on which threads your players choose to tug on. The focus is on defeating Father Plague by any means the party see fit to pursue.

Thou Shalt Not Suffer The Wycce has slightly more structure built into it, in that your players are investigating pre-written mysteries. A miracle has taken place, and the party will decide whether the event was truly miraculous or actually heretical in nature.

The new campaign still has sandbox elements (the mysteries can be pursued in any order; there are various political factions that players can support, undermine, or ignore; there are other mysteries only uncovered via exploration and interaction), but the emphasis is firmly on: 'Get to the bottom of this.'

If you are trying to choose between campaigns, we recommend you go with your gut. Don't worry about lore or chronology - pick whichever story you and your friends feel drawn to!

Golden Doomcoin

If you are interested in the Golden Doomcoin, make sure you are switching your pledge levels from Town Crier/Chorus to Orchestra/Symphony (not just upping your pledge amount).

Congratulations to the winner of the previous Doomcoin! You can see it below, just before we shipped it out a year ago.

PDFs

Starting next week, we'll be posting some PDFs talking about various aspects of Thou Shalt Not Suffer The Wycce. We plan to tell you about:

  • The noble families of Cocytus (and some of the political intrigue afoot)
  • Famine's realm, the Newynog. This will include info about how Famine's Candle interacts with the game!
  • Lovely player handouts for some of the miracles happening in Painyme. An NPC named John Peacock seems very eager to spread the Shepherd's word via a brand new invention, the Lechley Press...

See you very soon!
